We’ve been coming to Bobs Lake ourselves for over 40 years, and we believe it’s the perfect destination for relaxation mixed with fun, and privacy mixed with togetherness. 

We host weddings, family reunions, special celebrations, corporate retreats, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and getaways for families, friends, and pets at our lakefront South Frontenac, Ontario property.  

Our four lakefront cottages and unique island retreat are accompanied by endless activities for all ages, from kayaking and boating to basketball and pickleball. And we’ll go above and beyond to help you plan the perfect escape. We love crafting personalized experiences for our guests, including personal chefs, winery, brewery, and distillery tours, pontoon boat cruises, art workshops, farm tours, and so much more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Bobs Lake is located in South Frontenac, Ontario, midway between Toronto and Montreal. It is 50 minutes from Kingston and Perth and approximately 7 hours from NYC. 

Bobs Lake is rural Ontario’s largest wilderness lake, and as such, is surrounded by pristine wilderness. It is one of the hundreds of lakes in Canada’s Land O’Lakes region, which is easy to explore from our cottages.

While Bobs Lake is a wilderness lake, the region is dotted with small villages waiting to be discovered. We love Westport, which is just 22 minutes away. There, you can eat fish and chips, buy delicious fudge, and enjoy pizza at the winery overlooking the lake.

Guests will need a car for their stay. The closest airports are Kingston Airport (CYGK ~67 km/42 mi) and Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport (CYOW ~ 120 km/75 mi).

Absolutely! We are open year-round. There is nothing more magical than your own ice rink steps from your cottage. Ice skating, hockey, ice fishing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling are all popular winter activities at Bobs Lake. And you’ll benefit from lower pricing on our cottage rentals when you visit outside of the high season!
