My girlfriend and I loved our stay! Very cute and private and cozy. Snowy conditions the whole time, enjoyed the private Hot tub and private bonfire.Super clean and comfortable, would definitely come back!

Everyone were complimenting and praising this cottage. From all the nearby amenities and easy access to the lake with paddles, kayak/canoes, volleyball nets, and fun trials to walk through. I can go on forever with regards to how amazing this spot is. I particularly like the fireplace and the amazing views of nature given it’s facing the lake. We even like how there’s island of which we canoe too and explored and plenty of activities to keep anyone busy. We didn’t have enough time to do it all and might need to book a week to truly enjoy what this cottage has to offer. Marla is a gracious and kind host that quickly responded to our needs from opening the sunroom so we can conduct our Salsa Lessons. In addition, to providing us towels (which was mentioned that it wasn’t provided well in advance) – so long as we had them washed. We were able to watch horrors movies, eat good food, and had very peaceful sleep and rest. Thank you once more and we look forward to coming back. Cheers

We had an amazing stay at Bob’s Lake Cottages. Marla and her team were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this beautiful spot for a relaxing getaway!

Great spot! Marla was lovely. Weather was less than ideal but the hot tub and fireplace more than made up for it. A quick drive in to Westport for ice cream and dinner made it extra fun.
Also lots of canoes and kayaks for use on the lake which made it easy to keep busy.
Be sure to request a full tour of the grounds so you don’t miss any of the good spots!

We had a great stay at Bob’s Lake. Marla’s place had all the necessities we needed, even some things we forgot to bring ourselves. We were pleasantly surprised by how well the AC worked to keep the cottage cool during the extreme heat!
We were able to rent a pontoon for sightseeing and fishing on the lake with the dock just steps away from the house.
It would have been nice if the beach area was a shared area instead of being part of the other house so that all guests could enjoy it.
The little children’s playground area and other outdoor equipment was a nice touch as well for additional entertainment.

We had such an amazing 3 nights at The Eagle. The cottage was a great size for the 6 of us, the kitchen was very well equipped as well as the most Beautiful views of the lake! The water was amazing to swim in and lots of activities for the whole family to keep us entertained. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the bingo night was fun! Thanks so much for sharing this one of a kind spot with us! ?

I booked Marla’s Eagle cottage for a birthday / bachelor / fishing weekend for nine adults. The cottage itself was fantastic: right on the water; stunning views; great amenities; comfortable and homely.
The location with the other cottages at this site is fantastic. It has a real ‘homegrown’ feel and I mean this in a very positive way. Everything has been done to make guests’ stays more fun and comfortable, from the Tiki Bar and play areas to the boat rental and the provided water toys. Even the hand painted signage gives the place that extra bit of charm.
We were very well looked after from the moment we arrived with Sherri and Holly coming straight over to rearrange a bedroom. We had a defective kettle replaced within minutes (thank you Marsha) and were even given some homemade ice cream mix for us to make our own delicious ice cream on the Saturday night (thank you Marla)!
The cottage has everything you might need and we are likely to be heading back in the near future!

We had a great time at the cottage and made good use of the dock for swimming and kayaking.

Pleasant prompt greeting. Lots of amenities. Responsive staff. Very glad we rented a pontoon – the lake is truly lovely and the water was so pleasant to swim in. Super clean. Had a wonderful time, would definitely go again.

We came here as a couple families together and rented out The Eagle. It was an amazing experience! Everyone enjoyed their time and there was something for everyone to do from young to old. We all really appreciated the view which was breathtaking at all times! Hot tub was a great bonus when tired from the long day of kayaking, biking, and playing volleyball. Marla is a great host and her place is a must if you plan on staying at any of the lakes in Ontario!

This place was amazing. gorgeous scenery, fantastic lake, fun games and a hot tub! It is on an island and check in time is quite strict which would have been nice to know sooner but all in all a great trip and a fantastic stay.

We had an amazing stay at this family-friendly cottage! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Our kids enjoyed a wide range of activities, from the outdoor play area and zip line to indoor games and the beautiful water in front, keeping them entertained the entire time. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook, making us feel right at home. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for families, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!
